5 New Business Class Cabins to Watch Out For in 2024

As consumer preference in the travel industry shift airlines are working hard to keep up with popular demand of business class cabins. The VIP first-class cabins took a hit with the introduction of lie flat seats in the business class.

Emirates

The Dubai flag Emirati carrier that is often regarded for its exclusivity is looking to expand its luxury experience to other aircrafts apart from the flagship AirBus A380s. Soon a fresh installment of the retro fitted Boeing 777-300ERs will feature business class seating with exquisite wooden cabins with muted metal finish.

The freshly minted cabin will offer direct isle access and would be a step up from the boxed in feel of the previous ones. If you planning to take to the sky sometime this year look for the new planes to join the crew in later of the year.

Air India

After the takeover by Tata India’s national carrier Air India has been on a mission to revamp its services and reputation. The airline had revealed some newly furbished business class suites with 1-2-1 layout. The passengers will have sliding privacy doors, modern amenities like large touchscreen monitor, wireless charging, and extended trays. The fresh updates would become part of 22% of Air India fleets by March 2024.

Cathay Pacific

Asia bound Cathay Pacific that is known for its flagship Boeing 777-300ER planes and warm aesthetic is also introducing new business class seats.

Cathay teased the Aria Suites in a you tube video without delving much into the details. However, if things go as planned, we should see the new Business Class seats on their flagship in the second quarter of 2024.

American Airline

America’s largest air carrier is bringing in elevated business class experience in its new additions of Boeing 787-9s and Airbus A321XLRs. AA is also revamping retrofitted Boeing 777-300ERs with additional business class seats.

Featuring classic AA color theme, the modern cabins are decorated with light and ash grays and strikes of bold red. The passengers will have to wait until late months of 2024 for Boeing 777 upgrade. However, the fresh batch of Boeing 787-9s and Airbus A321XLRs is expected to be added sometime in mid 2024.

Lufthansa Airlines

After a couple of hiccups in launch time Lufthansa is now gearing up to launch its inclusive Allegris business class cabins in summer 2024. Well though out design to offer something for everyone, the Allegris cabins will feature seven different seat types, including business-oriented center-aisle suites, double seats ideal for couples, and bassinet seats for passengers accompanied by infants.

The cabins will exude signature Lufthansa color themes of navy blue and warm brown tones. Much anticipated, first in-seat heating and cooling controls will also be added to the cabins.
